Alaric Nominated for Asian Television Award!
Alaric has been nominated for an award at this year's Asian Television Awards. He has been nominated in the category for Best Performance by a comedy Actor/Actress, for his multiple roles on The Noose. Other contenders in the same category include Michelle Chong and Chua Enlai, also for their performances in The Noose. This is Alaric's first ATV nomination. Congratulations!!!
Getting To The Church on Time!
Wedding Bells rang for Alaric today as he wed his Fiance, Juliet, in a grand ceremony at Wesley Methodist Church up on Fort Canning Hill. The couple have been dating for over 2 years.
We wish them both a happy and abundant life together! :)
Different Role in Major Motion Picture.
Alaric has begun filming a feature film with Malaysian production company, Asia Tropical Films, who brought to us A-Nui's Ice Kachang Puppy Love. He plays an antagonistic character who makes life hell for the 2 lead characters, played by popular Malaysian DJs, Wong Kok Keong and Luke Loke, or conveniently known by their fans as K6!
"This is the first time I am playing the bad guy in a major motion picture... in Mandarin, no less." Alaric quirps. His claim on his mother tongue, is as usual, modest. But for those of us who have seen 18 Grams of Love, we know what he can pull off.
The film is called Lelio Popo. Principal Photgraphy will conclude by early Spetember and is set to hit cinemas throughout Singapore and Malaysia by year-end.
Part-timing on Channel Five Variety.
Seeing how Alaric has nothing better to do with his time these days, Producers of Channel five's new variety program Entertainment on Five offered Alaric a stint on their show, as a roving reporter. Alaric will be tasked to check out the latest and hottest entertainment acts in town and bring you their inside scoops.
With this project confirmed, Alaric will now be on the prime time belt on Tuesdays at 8.30pm for The Noose; and on Wednesday's at 8pm for Entertinment on Five. Both shows will be on Mediacorp Channel 5.
ALARIC IN A NEW SERIES!
Alaric was offered a role in an upcoming comedy series called Anything Goes. The ensemble series is about a small start-up company that specializes in deliveries. Anything from animal to plant, living or dead, they deliver... anything!
Alaric joins the cast of Darren Lim (Lin Ming Lun), Suhaimi Yusof and Mindee Ong in this madcap comedy directed by Glenn Chan from Fighting Spiders fame. Principal Photography begins June 21.
THE NOOSE RETURNS!
Alaric and the motley crew of comedians from The Noose returns with yet another season. This time in 3D. "The new season is filled with even more hilarious jabs at our current lifestyle in Singapore," says Alric candidly. "For example, Taxi drivers learning French, becasue they cannot seem to understand nor pronouce the name of many new condominiums."

Catch The Noose 3D from June 1. Every Tuesday 8.30pm. Channel 5.
